Our Wedding

A tale as old as time: We met at work and spent our evenings talking until the automated lights in the office finally gave up on us for the night. Eventually, it took a moment of courage to take our friendship outside the office walls, but once we did, a beautiful relationship began to bloom.From late-night office rendezvous to finally introducing him to all my secret Seattle thrifting locations, every moment has been a discovery. We’ve realized that, much like the $1.50 hot dog, the best things in life are simple, reliable, and exactly what you were looking for all along.

Our Story

My Maid of Honor has been my best friend since day one. She has been by my side through every stage of life, and I couldn't imagine this day without her standing next to me.

As Emma’s sister, this little girl didn’t have much of a choice when it came to being my friend. She never fails to make me laugh and holds such a special place in my heart. Flower girl just wasn’t a big enough role for such a big personality.

My Best Man is my best friend and the guy who’s been with me through it all. Good times, bad decisions, and everything in between. He’s been a constant in my life, so having him stand by my side on our wedding day was an easy choice.

Snohomish has a charming, rural setting, which can make accommodations and travel a bit more limited. We highly recommend booking early, as it’s a popular wedding destination and nearby options tend to fill up quickly. Vacation rentals like VRBO and Airbnb are also great options to consider.

For those flying,&nbsp;Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is your best bet. Rideshare options are more limited here in the country, we would recommend renting a car.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Semi-Formal For the Ladies: Think floral prints, sundresses, or flowy jumpsuits. Since we’ll be celebrating on the grass, you might want to rethink the stilettos—wedges, blocks, or fancy flats are your best friends here! For the Gentlemen: Keep it breezy! A nice collared shirt (button-downs or polos are great) paired with any pant of your choice.

Parking

Please be respectful by not blocking driveways, keeping speeds low, and staying off lawns—including grandma’s azalea bushes. Parking will be a factor, there is road side parking, please give yourself plenty of time to park and walk. We will have multiple parking attendants and signs. There will be NO parking in our driveway. If there is a mobility issue, please plan on dropping that person off and parking off-site. Most importantly, remember that this is a residential neighborhood with kind and patient neighbors.

Shuttle

We will provide a shuttle service from 4:00-4:45 Dutch Hill Elementary 8231 131st Ave SE, Snohomish, WA 98290 The return shuttle will begin at 9:00 pm.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Due to the guest count limitations, we ask that only the individuals listed on the invitations attend.

The Details

We will be hosting a shuttle that will pick-up and drop off at Dutch Hill Elementary, just up the road from our home. Most importantly, remember that this is a residential neighborhood with kind and patient neighbors. For the Gentlemen: Keep it breezy! A nice collared shirt (button-downs or polos are great) paired with any pant of your choice. For the Ladies: Think floral prints, sundresses, or flowy jumpsuits. Since we’ll be celebrating on the grass, you might want to rethink the stilettos—wedges, blocks, or fancy flats are your best friends here!A Note on Color: We kindly ask that you leave the whites and creams to the bride. Every other color of the rainbow (and every garden-inspired pattern) is fair game!
